.rar is a compressed archive, like .zip. No server will open it for you because you link to it.

You are supposed to unpack it on your own machine and use the files inside.

you dont need top help me with that toppic anyomre (i found that website where they sell dating script fot 15$).

now i have 2 questions:
1. if the rar is compressed how do i upload on server than? do i extract all files on my computer and upload on server 1by1 (1000 files...) or what?

2.if i buy script from http://phpcgishop.com....can i edit those scripts and put my text on website, add other pictures, change anything i want?

Why can you only upload one file a day? Maybe you should change ISP.


Find something free. But that wasn't what I meant. If you weren't allowed to change the text and images, what would be the point of using such a script? So, you probably are allowed to do that.

2. well its hard to find anything for free without haveing a lot of adverting (unless you buy script you have their advert on your website)..

So upload them all at once. You don't need to drag them one by one to the FTP window.


Especially when you don't want to spend your own time searching for it, I imagine. But that still wasn't my point. I'm not going to read the license for you, so I repeat that selling a script like that without letting people change the HTML content would be pointless because no one would buy it.

Do you use browser based upload? If you are stuck to that, are you really sure you are allowed to run scripts?

If you have a crippled FTP client, get a new one.

It says right THERE they support FTP, so why do you have to upload one file at the time again?

Lmao just upload the script and goto file manager in cpanel right click on the rar and extract it to either a folder or root
