I am using Openoffice.org to convert HTML document into a Microsoft Word document. We used divs to create a formatting block, but Openoffice is ignoring it. So we are forced to use tables (whihc is not what the business user wants :-) ) and those, too are spilling out of the Word document on the right side. So i was wondering if there was any other way, where I can have formatted text separated by tabs (or a certain number of space)

Our text blocks in the Word document should look like below:


Area: Area2

Sales: Combined Sales:

Name 1: TMin to TMax

Area A Pound 0.aaaa /unit

Surcharge: Pound 0.aaaa /unit
