I'm trying to decide what I should learn next to enhance my web designing and website functionality.
I know HTML pretty well, I understand a good deal of CSS, and was starting to learn JavaScript. What do you think would be good for me to learn next? Should I stay with JavaScript? or try something else like.. PHP, XML, ASP or what? What would be the best to learn for general... over-all website buliding?
All suggestions are appreciated!
Thanks!

I recommend a server-side programming language. PHP seems to be popular. So is Java (servlets, not applets).

To create a functional website that is linked to a database...then the following would be useful.
HTML, CSS, Javascipt, PHP and MYSQL.
I would say you would need to look at what type of websites you will be constructing and base your knowledge on that
