Hello there,

I'm trying to find the best solution for getting audio to be playable on my website. For awhile now I've had real media files on my site, and it has been necessary for the user to have real player in order to listen to tracks. But now I wish to embed the player in the page so that there's no downloading or streaming involved, and no user application required. Just click and play.

What I think I'd like is just a simple play button next to the song title, nothing more. The alternative would be a player at the top of the page and the songs listed below. The thing is, I have the songs listed in a table, with a description of each song with each title. See this page http://www.kennystringer.com/listen.html and see what I mean. So what I'm after is either a simple small triangle play button in each cell of the table, or a player at the top of the table with links to each song title in the table.

Is this making sense?

I've been searching the net for the last couple days and can't seem to find the right one. Any help much appreciated.

Cheers,
Kenny

Not my thing, this, but from what I hear Flash is concidered the best option. Whatever you use there will be downloading involved though, or no one will hear anything. happy.gif
