i do not have a shopping cart just items to click on a buy via paypal which is good but not everyone has paypal now i will one day have to employe this method as when all my forsale items are done there be two many but for now i need to except all mager credit and debit cards how is this achieved without going to a bank to set up an accout to do this????

You either need a "merchant account" with a bank (or whatever), or you can use a 3rd party service.

PayPal does not require any signup to make credit card payments, so in a sense everyone _does_ "have PayPal". But there are always people who won't use PayPal for various reasons (typically these are the people who are perfectly happy to fax their CC numbers to someone (like us) they have never heard of). For such cases you can use other 3rd party services: I use 2checkout.com who are reasonable. There are others like Worldpay[?], but when I investigated several years ago some of these are only plausible if you are selling things like software with a high profit margin, because they charge anything up to 15%. 2checkout.com charge around 5-6%, but this may depend on your circumstances, location etc.
