Full Version: flash not allways seen

when flash isnt installed or active x is blocking it you can not see my search bar is there a way of putting pic and link there if the flash is not active???

Home page validated now so why are unvisited links blue in firefox instead of grey works fine in internet explorer and its out of this world on safari in comoparison to other sites so what have i missed lol

I can't get your search bar to display even when I whitelist your site. What is it supposed to do that the search functions of my browser don't already do? What is it supposed to do that a site-search form wouldn't do? (In other words, why use Flash at all?)

You have a number of CSS errors that can't be helping. One of them is probably breaking your a:link rule.

cheers are you saying there is away to make a site search with out flash ????

going to google that one

Sure. Actually, the Flash part is irrelevant. What matters is the search function on your site, or the search function on some other site that indexes yours. Perhaps one of these CGI site-search programs or one of these PHP site-search programs will meet your needs.

Yes. HTML and CSS are separate languages, and one can have errors while the other doesn't.

IIRC because the flash code uses only the IE method so the page can validate...

i get it now i found out css is well like basic1 which is very easy so i looked at the css errors and they are all very minor and lucky for me as they are within my <!--rem--> i can replace hole sections of the css that has errors with the new code as long as i finsh the other 1600 ppages the same i can use coffeecup html editors find and replace function to update the css code
