Hi,

I am designing a catalog however the photos have a background, for
example the pictures are of shoes but i can see the table the shoe is
sitting on and the background behind the shoe, is there a way to cut
the shoes out in Photoshop so the background is removed?

Thanks
Frederiek
How to do it depends a bit on the background.

Go see Russell Brown's video tutorials at http://www.russellbrown.com/tips_tech.html.
Under the title "Advanced CS3 Masking with Monsters! (The Series)", you'll find a few ways.

Or see if one of these from goodtutorials.com, suits your needs: http://www.good-tutorials.com/search/tutor...xtract?approved.

Save as .gif (you might need to use a matting to fit the background color of your table/page) or as .png (24bits) (which is not supported by all browsers without a hack).

jhunecachola, please don't shout, as writing in uppercase is interpreted as shouting on the web.

If you have removed the background of an image, without keeping a copy *with* the background, then there's nothing you can do. All you can do is create another background for it.
