heyya, first post!

the basic problem is this, I cant get my footer to position at the bottom of the browser window if the above content isn't tall enough to fill the browsers height and stay at the bottom of the page when the content is taller then the browsers height.

my website has:

#Global_container {
padding: 0px;
margin: 0px;
position: absolute;
width: 100%;
height: auto;
top: 0px;
left: 0px;
}

#Header {
position: relative;
width: 100%;
height: 100px;
background-color: #FFFF00;
}

#Content {
position: relative;
width: 800px;
margin-right: auto;
margin-left: auto;
background-color: #00FF00;
}

#Footer {
position: relative;
width: 100%;
height: 100px;
background-color: #0000FF;
}

with header, content and footer <divs> inside the Global_container <div'>

the way i see it. i could set global container's height to 100% or auto. 100% would keep it at the bottom if the page is too short and auto if the page was too long, i've been fiddleing with different positioning tags and the bottom:0px tag etc... for about an hour now and still cant get it to stay down...

thanks for any help

A URL to a working page would be easier. Meanwhile, take a look here:
