I was thinking about adding an instant messenger name on the website that I built for the company that I work for. Just so that people can talk to me instantly about quotes or any questions about the work we do. Do you guys think that would be a good idea and if so which instant messenger would you recommend. http://www.yarbroughconstruction.net is the website. I was worried that it may be too overwhelming to talk to a lot of people, but also, people that may not have tried to learn about it could instantly talk to me about it.

If you do this, then I recommend that you create a new IM account just for business contacts, that you have specific hours for IM contacts posted on the web site, and that you log in only during those specific hours.

Do not use your regular IM account for this.
