Full Version: Problem with inserted picture

I have a sport web page that I designed a few years ago and works ok, but, to liven it up a bit, I want to insert a picture of people enjoying the sport.

The page was created in MS Frontpage and edited using the same version. In the "Normal" mode, the picture shows in the right place and also in the "Preview" mode, but when published, the picture does not show.

Both the edited page and the picture have been uploaded to the same directory, and other graphics (gifs) which are handled the same way do show on the page.

The code that I have usd is <img border="0" src="panorama1a.gif" width="777" height="117">

I thought that with the picture file in the same directory as the *.html file that the picture should show.

Can someone suggest what the problem might be rolleyes.gif all I get is the space for the picture and a red cross in the corner

That bit's easy: Frontpage

If you want more help, you need to give the address of the page (please put http:// in front, so it makes a link)

In the meantime, please see the FAQ entry Why are my images coming out all wrong or not loading?
