with forum/html split, i have a site that is already up and runnign but the phpbb forum i have doesnt have any site navigation buttons for people to click so they constantly have to go back to see the other pages on my site. I need a button bar on the top of the phpbb forum for the rest of my site pages. How do i do this? please help.

You find the right template(s) and edit it/them to include your navbar. IIRC the one you are probably looking for is called overarall_header or similar, at least it used to be called something like that.
