Full Version: Bizarre "Stumble Upon" Page Display Problems

I've been getting a lot of traffic from Stumble Upon lately and was curious to try out the toolbar they offer.

I was shocked that when I looked at my site, the entire left side of the page was gone. You'll only be able to reproduce this error if you happen to have the Stumble Upon Toolbar in IE 7 and another browser without it. Then check out www.triplepundit.com and you'll see what I mean. Any idea what the devil that's all about?

Thanks!

Thanks darren... there are only a few errors that are on my site itself (just some URLs with ampersands and such that I can't do anything about. The rest are all coming from Blogads or other places in the right sidebar with admittedly terrible code. Anyway, I knocked them completely out of the template for a test and the oddity persists, so I don't think that's the problem. I put them back in for now. Anyway, really just curious if anyone knows exactly what that StumbleUpon tool bar might do to a page that would cause soemthing like this? If is a doctype thing? A Div being coincidentally named something that SumbleUpon uses? I don't really care that much about StumbleUpon, but if loads of new users are only seeing half the site, it's a bit of an issue....

Anyway, thanks!

Fascinating... the problem just *went away* ... something odd about those toolbars. I'm glad I don't use 'em regularily.
