im making an app that advertises within it, on somebodys website. thing is iv had an issue that is not down to code???

after my 10th change of image , when im suposed to be jumping to the next image -----><a title="Next Page" href="linkpage1b1arge.html">-->
<img style="position:absolute; left:90px; top:232px;" src="button2b1.png"width="30" height="30" border=0></a>

it wont load the image and returns a 404 the requested url is not found.....and visa versa when i jump from linkpage1large(the start of the images) to cycle...

i have no idea why this is, and it cannot be code related because theres no reason for the 404 other than some other issue....every file is there also, so theres no reason for this,. but it wont for snitjump to another page after linkpage1alarge????? i have no idea, why. and im sure only a seasoned html programmer could possibly even have an answer??? but i really hope some one can help me change it is they have any info for me because its not right is it.....thanks in advance anybody who has any idea what im on about and why this is happening to me, cheers.

I also had another previous issue to where, i had a video as an advert and it was working fine until the next day when i loaded and run the programme, for some strange reason at wouldnot let me jump past to the next page and also was playing a previous mp3 that i had deleted from the file, and no matter how hard i tried it would not ammend until i actually copied and pasted the exact code into a new file, then it strangely worked becuase it was no longer loading from the old filename,,,now call me a hacker but i think somthing more than just coincidence is happening/....Now i see a hack, i dont know what you guys think but thats what i assume...Theres some very strange people alive in this day in age lol....and yes im using google drive and a server....

obviously there are ways around this and a complete re-write is in order new server & domain ect, and better ways to cycle the images ect...But what are my defences in terms of security, should i be 100% protected ect...and if i close my files to the public will i still be able ro tun the webpage from googedrive....anybody familuar with this error....Thanks in advance

There aren't 10 images in the markup you posted. Post all of it or, preferably, link to the page, so we can try it out. But the reason for a 404 is always that you've got the URL wrong somehow. Case is probably important too (depends on what OS the server runs).

You may also want to take a look at the section A Complete HTML 4 Document here.

It doesn't matter that you use another version of HTML and another doctype. The principle is the same. Yours is messed up. For example </html> closes the document. It come absolutely last. Not first.

<edit>
its not the url either . i can run the app from outside of my server and it works ok and retrives the data but i still get the 404 when its supposed to go from the 1st image to the last for the cycle and visa versa ....

its something either server related or it might have something to do with the fact that im jumping to a new page every image rather than just having all images called from the main page...

eitherway, the bug just appears out of nowhere without

Thanks for the reply mate...Its really strange...I have another section on the app and the same things hapening to that too now, FOR NO REASON...it was working fine, but now , when clicked to goto the next image after or before the 3 that are beiung displayed...it does the same thing and sends a 404....now this part of the app was fine, nothing worng with it., nothings been changed, but all of a sudden today...i now wont load past the 1st image or the last....its really wierd and is not down to coding, or file names ect because like i say, everything was working fine, but now all of a sudden this issue...and at 1st it was only after or before the larger collection of images but the other part of the app wirth only 3 images was working fine and i could continusly click through the images.....today though, the 404 isuue has appeared out of nowhere......

if you can figure it out i would be most greatfull....

also any suggestion on another method of image selection....im looking into it anyway but im a complete noob at html and have no idea what im doing lol, so if anybody can modify this code to be selectable within the same page instead of jumping to another page every image, i would be greatfull....

heres the code....
