I am sorry if this is in the wrong section... I am a newbie and I don't know where to put it.

Ok, well, I know nothing about HTML but I am willing to learn! I am very interested in learning how and learning how it all works.

I am having the hardest time trying to figure out how to use HTML...

If you need me to post the site I am making it on, then just let me know!!!

I just want to know where to start...

I noticed that when I am on their site (freewebs) they have a button to take a tour. They have a page editor, file editor and such. Take the tour and pay attention to the tools they offer. It doesn't look like you need to mess with the code, just choose a template from the (over 300) that they offer and go from there. You really need to take the initial tour to learn how their site works.
Good luck,

Will that teach him how to add a background to his page?
