Full Version: Gap under image in table cell?

I am having some trouble and just can't figure it out. Please look at http://katopia.com/clientfiles/vineandsun/ and see the gaps under the two images of the woman on the right (you can see the gaps best in IE). What is going on? I've told the table cell to be the exact same size as the image. I'm using CSS, too, but I just am not seeing where I went wrong.

Thanks for the help!

Please see the FAQ entry How do I eliminate the space around/between my images?

The only "gap" I see in Opera or Firefox is the line that is part of the bottom image

Look at the page in IE, you'll be able to better see the gap I'm talking about. There's actually a gap under the logo on the left too, but I've made that table cell white so you can't see it. Thanks for the link - I'll check it out.

That looks like the gap caused by MSIE's broken handling of whitespace, as described in the FAQ entry I linked to.

Yes - you're completely correct. I just moved my [td] tags and got rid of my html comments and it displays correctly. Thanks so much!!! (It's so crazy that would cause a problem...)
