Full Version: Using Java OpenWindow blanks the original page

We have a data driven ASP site. One of the new functions we've just added is a java window that opens so that viewers can make comments on the topic they are viewing. We used Java Window.Open attached to a button input to open the comment box, and this works fine - but the page where the button resides - the information that they are commenting on - goes blank when the new window opens. If you make your comment and close the window you have to hit BACK to return to the originating page. Is there an argument or parameter on Window.Open that prevents the originating page from going blank? I haven't been able to locate an answer....

PS I'd show the code here, but it's on a secure web site.

Never mind...it was a post-back problem. Long story, but I'll make it short. It's fixed. I knew as soon as I posted the question we'd figure it out....so...thanks!
