I am really new at this.....and I am using Evrsoft First Page 2006 to help make my base pages and tweaking them in the edit tool in 110mb.com.

my site is http://www.twilightthrowers.110mb.com/

Things seem to be working pretty well except I'd like my link pages to open in the same window and not open a new window.

Any suggestions?

Remove the target attributes from the AREA tags. Links open in the same window unless you do something to change that - and you did. happy.gif

This is unrelated, but you should know that it isn't a good idea to make the whole page an image. The only things that really need to be images are the little guys at top and maybe the logo text if you are particular about the font. The rest should be real text and a a blue background color. Text can be resized to fit the readers eyesight and resolution, it can be copied and it can be indexed by search engines. None of that works with an image of text.

Unrelated, but pretty serious. There may be something odd about the server setup - I just got a blodge of low-res image, and every time I reloaded it, the server sent a bit more, so I could gradually read the text.

Thanks for the response. I'm a photoshop guy so I did this to get things up quick. My goal is to learn more regarding writing code so I can rely on the source code and not images for the site.

I'm going to keep plugging at it and hope to make it better!

Thansk again for the responses.....
