Hello.
I'm working on a site and my tables don't line up properly. Any suggestion would be appreciated.
The url is http://skylandpines.net/project/test.html

Thanks.

Bunch of errors there - the no doctype one is the biggest no-no, especially if you're trying to get fiddly things like layout tables to align.

Is there a CSS alternative? Is there ever.

I recommend that you fix the HTML errors reported by the online validator. Some are non-standard markup, others are missing ALT attributes, but others indicate serious structural problems. Also, you should fix the CSS errors too.

It helps to turn on borders when debugging layout tables. You can turn them back off later, once you've got the table structure right.

thanks for the post. I thought i knew what i was doing until i clicked on that validator. If i don't fix this, i will be in a real tight spot come monday. I don't know enough about css to make the templates work with my design.
