I'm so confused!

The page I'm confused about is here:
http://www.gangstarock.net/buybeats.html

Under the columns "Hi-Fi MP3 Snippet" & "Lo-Fi MP3 Complete" there should be PLAY buttons. Strangely, they only seem to appear in Safari, Firefox, or IE on a Mac. When I switch to PC (Firefox or IE) they don't show up. Or, they show up sometimes, but seemingly by accident (i.e. they might appear at first, but once refreshed they disappear again).

These PLAY buttons are just regualar old .gif images with links to MP3 files.

I've tried changing the img src to include the full path name (i.e. http://www.gangstarock.net/images/play.gif), but this didn't work.

Any advice is very welcome, I've been trying to figure this out for weeks.
Thanks!
Christian J
I could see the buttons in my Windows browsers. When they don't show up, do you get broken image icons instead or are they just trying to load forever? The latter might indicate a slow host.

You may want to fix the validator errors: http://www.htmlhelp.com/cgi-bin/validate.c.../buybeats1.html

Thanks for your reply,
They also show up on a friends xp system, perhaps it's just mine for some reason(?). They don't show up as broken, nor do they take forever to load. They just don't show up. The black background of the table does still appear, just no play button.

I'll check into the validation, but almost all of those things are from the paypal "shopping cart" form buttons which I just copied and pasted from their website. I'm kind of afraid to mess around with it.

Thanks again,
Brian

Do you use a program with "web-washing features", something that blocks ads? May be your firewall. Some of them block images with certain names and certain dimensions. 'play.gif' sounds innocent and the size isn't a common banner size, but who knows. unsure.gif

Oh, when the images don't load, View Source and see if the source code has been rewritten by some evil app like Norton. ninja.gif

I looked at buybeats1.html (main frame) and I think it can be done easily with css and html, the code would be more readable and without tables. And what is "-----BEGIN PKCS7----- MIIH4QYJKoZIhvcNAQcEoIIH0jCCB84CAQExggEwMIIBLAIBADCBlDCBjjELMAkGA1UEBhMCVVMxCzAJ

One half of a key encryption scheme. Strange place to put it though.
