I really want to make a site kind of like download.com. Can anyone help me???

You don't put anything on a server with Notepad. You upload the zip files the same way as you upload your HTML files and images. That may be with FTP, a file manager your host provides or some other method.

I think you are talking that you are editing your html page in notepad.. and want a code so anybody can download your zip files.

Then it's so easy..

1) Put your zip file on server

2) Create a link and link it to your zip file

For example:

<a name="downloadfile" href="www.yoursite.com/dowloadfolder/downloadfile.zip>Click here to download</a>
