Full Version: Need some advice

My site is very basic. It consists with a particular colour for background, a large image with some text typed over it. I have the text placed on as an overlay (?) if that makes sense. My problem is I want the screen to look good no matter what browser / resolution / or monitor size you use. The way I have it now is that the text seems to float all over the place and looks poor.
I do have larger resolutions of the pic if that would help. I went with a smaller size as I hoped it would load quicker and be compatible with that size on most cpu's these days.
Here is the link to the site: www.centralmbmasons.com

I just want to be able to go in and modify the text as needed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

First piece of advice: Use a sensible topic. "I need advice" isn't.

Second: we can't help without seeing the page. If you type
http://www.centralmbmasons.com it will be a link.

Hint: No, that isn't a good way to design a page. The image has a fixed pixel dimension; the text size depends on browser/screen resolution.
