Hi, I thought this link viewed in MSIE 6.0

http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg18925371.700

should look the same after I did a File | Save As... and clicked on the saved HTML Document in MS Explorer.

But it did not turn out that way, at least not visually, even if all the info looked intact. Did I expect too much?

The first one to offer an explanation should be able to get his or her reward from the usual place biggrin.gif else it's just a note of grateful thanks from me.

I've run into such problems, where a friend used MSIE's Save As... function to save an HTML document I'd written, and the saved copy was butchered. IIRC, he ended up backing up to the page that linked to the document I'd written, and using right-click > Save Target As... function instead.
