Peaceful Kaos
Hi smile.gif
I'm learning HTML and CSS at the moment, and decided to create a test web page to see what I could do.

My problem is, I'd like my page to have a static navigation bar and banner, with changing content in the centre.

I know this is accomplished using divs, but for the life of me I can't work out how, and I'm having trouble finding any tutorials which would show me how this is done.

If anyone could help, either by explaining how its done, or linking me to a tutorial, it would be much appreciated.

Not really, but you can use server-side includes (SSI or PHP). See also http://htmlhelp.com/faq/html/design.html#include-file

Oh ok, it's just I've seen it accomplished using divs but just never really understood the code. Didn't think of looking at PHP thanks smile.gif and thanks for the link smile.gif

Wait a little, guys. I think the answer to Peaceful Kaos question might be more basic that that.

Peaceful Kaos, are you asking how to avoid to type the code for the menu on each page (for that you have got the answer), or are you asking how to accomplish a menu in the first place?
