Need help please. No html background but was able to create a single page html file with text, images and links on Adobe Go Live 6. How do I upload the file to email so that when people receive my emails they can view the html page already with all the graphics and links on the body of the email itself?
kirank
in this case for images and for css you need to add that on your site ,or some where and on images you can give the path according to that

for example
CODE

<img src="http://www.google.co.in/intl/en_com/images/logo_plain.png">Google image </a>

like that

Thanks Kirank. I'm sure this is helpful. But I don't have html background. I mean, I can't and don't understand anything about writing codes. Is there another way to do it? blush.gif

Sounds like it's time to learn at least the basics then.

HTML emails are tricky because email clients aren't browsers and you have no idea with what the recipients will view the HTML or if they are able to view it at all. GoLive generates crappy HTML. A risky combination.

but i thing this is easy way ,

rolleyes.gif oh, guess I really have to start learning these codes. i don't have any background whatsoever on programming or html. i was able to come up with a template by just playing around with the buttons and graphics. i never even touched the codes. do i have to take formal lesson, like learn programming?
pandy
No, you just need to learn HTML basics. There are many tutorials on the net, no lessons needed.

Thanks. Actually, I've never even used DW and Go Live before until 3 days ago. And I was able to come up with a single page template by just playing around with the buttons on Go Live 6. I find GL6 more user friendly for beginners like me than DW CS4. I have lots of issues with DW. I'm only using trial versions of both right now and having second thoughts about what to eventually purchase???? unsure.gif

Well, don't learn from any of them.
