Full Version: .PNG Images not displaying properly

Ok I searched around and have tried many things, including changing filenames, cleaning up my tags, and reformatting & uploading images, and I am still at a loss. I am using FlashCS4, and Dreamweaver CS4. When I preview my page in flash everything looks fine, but when I upload it to my server some of my images do not display.

I am trying to add images to a sub window within my flash page(fyi I bought a template) and everything looks fine when I preview in flash but when I upload it to the site it does not display them. I had this same problem before and was able to resolve it by re converting my photos to .png and uploading them again, and also even changing the file names. But none of those tricks are working on this, is there possibly something wrong in my coding? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Also for reference the site is www.redflashphotography.com and the images should appear in services tab under weddings. When I preview them in flash they all line up perfectly next to each package. Below is that portion of code just as it is on my page. Please advise

Do you mean Services -> Weddings -> Weddings? I see images of rings next to each package.

I move this to the Flash forum.

Thanks that really helped!! I've been going out of my mind wondering why they don't show up. I checked the page in IE and I can see them. But for some reason they are not appearing in firefox. Is this common?

Edit: I cleared my cookies and it shows up now!! This has also cleared up the issue of my sound changes not taking place, wow who knew it would be so simple!!

Yeah, I checked in IE and gecko. No problem (if I look at the right place).

I dont know how what I said could have helped, but I'm glad it did.

Yes it led me to find that my browser was the issue. I've been previewing the page as I make changes, and I think clearing my cache helped to display the new results.

I hope next time someone else has this problem they find this thread because there are a lot of general "images not displaying" topics out there.
