I'm wondering if it's possible to make robots (Google, etc.) ignore only parts of a certain page
Maybe we should ask
why you want to achieve that result. E.g., do you get a lot of unwanted traffic? Or do you want to increase the "keyword density" by hiding the less important content?

and not the whole page/directory.
It's quite possible to disallow individual pages within a directory.
I know it's possible to disallow certain pages, I only want parts of specific pages.
I don't want visitors being directed to the site because of keywords that don't really have anything to do with it's actual purpose.
I think I'm just going to let this go. I'll just find a different workaround.

Thanks anyways, to both of you.
