Full Version: disappearing top bar

Hey, I just updated my website. My website is http://www.violet-ink.com

I'm not a professional webdesigner, so try to bear with me here, please lol, but I do know enough to get by. Pretty much, I used a style sheet, just one, and linked it to my pages, for the fonts and for a bar to appear at the top of the screen, with my logo and a purple background, since the font color I'm using for the link is WHITE and it matches my company's identity....

Here's a screenshot of how it's SUPPOSE to and originally looked like:

Unfortunately, if you visit my site now, that's NOT what it looks like hehe. I have the bar split into two files, one with just the actual logo, and one that is a repeating purple background. For some reason it's always disappearing or coming back. It used to work until I updated it today. It seems to show in Dreamweaver but as soon as I upload all the files to GoDaddy it's back to being missing.

This is beyound frustrating for me. I don't know if it's the way the files are organized in GoDaddy or what. I changed the path name from the images folder just to my regular parent folder, I checked to make sure the linking was right, it seems like the font formating I made in the CSS show up, but not the fact that a bar is suppose to appear at the top.

Same thing with my lightbox script...seems to work in Dreamweaver yet as soon as I update GoDaddy, I'm missing pieces, like the close button at the bottom and the loading gif.

What am I doing wrong?

Is this the missing image? In that case it doesn't exist on the server.
