Hello,

I am trying to create an email blast, and send it out through a web mail provider ( hotmail ).

All I am trying to do for now, is just sending images and text out, I dont need forms. I know that e-mail blast is a .htm page with text and images, then you put the images on the server so it loads properly. but, how do you paste a .htm file on the body of your e-mail?? do you need a outlook or other special software that would be able to real HTML codes?

Thank you for your help.

If I'm understanding you correctly, I'm quite sure no one here would want to help you do that, even if they knew how for whatever reason. No one likes spam and junk mail.

It isn't always Spam and Junk. We send out notices to people who have ordered from us before and we send them online notices of new sales etc.

But we send to about 25,000 people if i remember correctly (we outsource or I would have helped ya)

according to the article, hotmail ( the account I am using ), should be able to read HTML e-mails. I think I will give it a try, and get back to you guys.

You might also look into PhpList. Install it on your server to compose and send multi-part mime emails (both html and text together). It also has settings to throttle your sending rate so you don't overload the server that is sending . . . many webhosting servers and ISPs won't allow you to send a large batch of emails at one time.

But you want to send it, not read it, don't you? I think they also have restrictions concerning bulk mail.
