Yes, I guess I am one of the very people, who spends most of his time in front of a computer, but do not have any knowledge of the 'Blog'. So, I am trying to remedy this.
I would appreciate any input, words of wisdom, or pointers in the right direction. Basic aspects/points I would like to explore are: The basic concept and the purpose/goal What kind of coding and/or knowledge required to get into this game How do the bloggers make any revenues (A few years ago, I heard an interview with writer from a very prestigious publication in New York. He was talking about quitting is job, to devote all his time to blogging.) Any other points I have not yet thought of. The easy way to do it is install a package, the most popular of which is WordPress. Many hosting services supply 1-click installation. Please note that a standard installation is very insecure and immediately will be flooded with spam. So the easy thing to do is install it, the harder thing to do is secure it.
