Hi

I need help with finding the html code to show a link title name to appear in the task bar?? (Im not sure if that's what the gray bar at the bottom of everyone's screen is called? It usually shows the url of a webpage when you put your mouse over on a link)

So instead of showing the webpage url I want it say "blah" whenever users roll their mouse over on the link...

I hope this is clear enough.

Thanks for any help.

It's called the status bar. The only way to alter the text in the status bar is by using javascript. Exemples of status bar effects can be found at http://www.javascriptkit.com/script/cutindex19.shtml.

But know that many people (including myself) use the status bar notice to see where a link takes them.
