HTMLHelp Forums _ Cascading Style Sheets _ Trying to make a responsive navbar and keep everything centered

Where the heck am i going wrong, i've tried a billion different combinations and approaches with absolutely no luck.

What i'm trying to accomplish:

- Navbar that shifts to vertical when screen is less than 600px wide (see media line for reference)
- everything centers on the page to compensate fore mobile devices
- pictures center on page and resize to fit the page

NONE of these perameters are working, this is what i've currently got...
