Hey, I'm trying to link to a PDF and I want it to open in a new tab or window but currently all it does is bring up the download dialog. I've tried the target=_blank method but that doesn't help. Anybody know how I can achieve this?

Please see the FAQ entry How do I force the browser to download a file? How do I force the browser to show/play a file itself? How do I force a file to be opened by a particular program?

Will never happen here. I don't allow PDF or Office files to open "inside the browser". Maybe you don't either? It's a user setting.
