Link is:
http://www.ampota.com/ The page loads fine on IE6 and Firefox but when I checked it on IE7, a horizontal scrollbar appeared. Is it my image background the culprit? I'm really clueless since I've checked my CSS it seems ok. Thanks for the upcoming replies |

The page uses a fixed-width layout. It's going to require horizontal scrolling any time the browser window is narrower than the width of the layout.

Yes it has fixed width. But I'm viewing the page on a 1280x1024 resolution monitor (bigger than the page itself). Horizontal scrollbar is not suppose to be there.
Is there anything i can do to the CSS to fix this? Thank you! |

Well, I get horizontal scrollbars once the window gets less than 1000px wide or so. To fix it, you need to rework the design so that it is flexible. Since you used CSS to create the inflexible design, I suppose you could say that the fix would be something you'd do to the CSS. But it isn't a simple fix.
