is terribly tedious . . .

Ideally, they should have a Toggle switch (Subscribe/Unsubscribe)in the Options menu for each topic.

I think this board is really nice, however sometimes there are just too many features. I mean what is the SPOILER tag for? blink.gif

Yes, the probably should... but the only problem is then you wouldn't be able to select whether you want immediate notification or a daily digest. For example, since I'm subscribed for immediate notification of all threads in which I post, I'm getting a lot of e-mails. If I subscribed for notification of posts in a given forum I'd really only want a digest as immediate notification would flood my box once things get going.

I'm assuming that you've already gone to your My Controls panel and updated your E-mail Preferences there?

Oh Jim... you missed the PERFECT opportunity to use it...
What is the SPOILER tag for?

Honestly, there are a few BBCodes in there that I have no idea how people are going to use them. But I'm sure curious to find out...

Hmmm. That's strange. The spoiler works in the preview, but not in the post?!?

Well, a lot of them make sense for other types of discussions than the ones we're likely to have. For example, the SPOILER feature might be useful in a forum that discusses movies, books, geocaching, or anything else where someone might want to avoid spoilers for a movie, book, geocache, or whatever else that they haven't experienced themselves yet.
