 Permission denied error |

I've been trying to figure this out and I can't. I've been getting these errors and I can't explain why
http://www.emmasbridaljewelry.com/inner/bridal/necklaces For a brief moment last night the errors disappeared and it connected to the database. I transferred the domain over yesterday aroung noon to my new server. Is it possible that these errors have some weird thing to do with the domain not being completely registered with the new nameservers? It says permission denied when I try to instantiate the session, and I don't understand how that could be related to the domain. |

It can take up to 48 hours for a DNS change to be propagated through the internet.
If you can, do a "lookup" to see to which server your DNS points. |

I know, but why would that affect the site the way it is? I'm getting the source from the internet fine. I don't see how the DNS and the errors I'm getting would be related. I don't know. Upon clicking the link you gave, all I get is this in my browser:
"Unable to connect to the database server at this time." A Lookup on the domain gives: 208.113.149.174 And the Whois, three nameservers |

well, for the record. It wasn't a DNS problem. The tmp directory that the session variables were being written too has problems on my new server. I'm not sure what the problems are, but I set a new path for the tmp directory in my .htaccess file and now it works.
