Hi, I'm an amateur who has been building a website for my boss and made background with vegas style signs that I put flashing gifs over top. When you load the page the gifs instantly appear followed shortly by the background. This looks terrible and I can only assume it loads this way because the gifs are smaller in file size. Is there a way to make them wait to load until after the background loads?

Not really. Maybe you can make the background smaller. How big is it? Is it in an optimal format? Have you optimized it? Can you post the URL to the page? smile.gif

Do you use a background color that matches the background image? You should.
