Should be simple, I've seen it done numerous times but I can't seem to find any.

When I upload pictures from my camera to my computer, it asks for a pathname, then saves all files as pathname_XXX. What I would like to do, is put a script in my website so I could put http://www.link.com/pathname_XXX.jpg or pathname_[001, 025] to automatically display all of those 25 images, or however many there are. Sure I could manually add hundreds of these < img src > tags, but I do know there is an easier way out there... Open to PHP if that's what it comes down to.

One of these CGI image-indexing programs or these PHP image indexing programs may meet your needs.
