I'm putting together a gallery for purrinlot.com, and I'm noticing some really odd behavior from IE6. You can view the pages and css at www.purrinlot.com/national.htm (along with all the links that you see in the #sidebar) and www.purrinlot.com/style.css.
Basically, in the #content section, I have a <div class="gallery"> with an <img class="thumbnail"> and <div class="desc"> in it. In IE6, the last three characters of the .desc are repeated after the class is closed. This causes those last three characters to show up again either just below the .desc or just below the img.thumbnail. In case it doesn't do this in your browser, here is an example of what I'm talking about. Does anyone know why this might be happening? |

That's really bizarre, but thanks for the help. I'll try it in the morning!

The site you pointed me to helped, but not quite like I had hoped. Now, instead of repeating the last three characters, IE6 only repeats the last character in each .desc
I guess I'll live with that... |

Nope. I discovered a better fix.
CODE .desc { position: relative } What did you try? The extra width? You can probably remove that. I couldn't try since I'm not sure what you've done. Please let me know if it works without the fix you already use. |
