The web site grj.hostzi.com was written using frames. How do I accomplish the same thing without using frames?

That depends on what you mean by "the same thing".
To include the banner/navigation on every page, see the FAQ entry: http://www.htmlhelp.com/faq/html/design.html#include-file To put navigation links on the left side of the page, see the FAQ entry: http://www.htmlhelp.com/faq/html/design.html#left-navbar To allow the content to scroll while the navigation links remain fixed, you can use CSS. For example, see: http://www.cssplay.co.uk/layouts/frame.html |

Thanks for the reply Darin. What is mean by "the same thing" is to have the same functionality and appearence. Since the <frame> tag is not supported per se in HTML5 I wanted to conform to the latest version. I want the content of each month to be displayed in the same page when user clicks on a date. Since there may be many dates it's seems impractical to have all the content in one file, so frames seem to be an ideal solutions, except they deprecated it in HTML5.
