The stupidity...
I don't know if they still do it, but newspapers here in Sweden that allowed comments under their articles decided that to avoid anonymous hateful or obscene comments users should log in with Facebook. Facebook! I don't "use" FB, but I have a couple of fake accounts to be able to follow a few things I'm interested in that aren't available elsewhere. So there is no problem to be anonymous on FB and no problem to create as many accounts as you wish, I think. But people buy it and dutifully register at FB with their real name to be able to post comments at their newspaper's site. Sad, sad, sad. |
