HTMLHelp Forums _ General Web Design _ Help with slides/mouseover actions

Hi guys,

I am currently using this css3 site template to create a site for a band :

However, I am wanting it to have an effect where the slides are greyscale but go to colour on mouseover, like in this tutorial:

I am a bit confused as to how to go about it, mainly because the images for the slides are determined within the css, whereas the hover effect is created by using jquery within the source code. Is there another way to do this without calling on jquery perhaps?

Any ideas or help would be much appreciated!
