I've designed a website that works beautifully on my laptop. But, once uploaded on Cpanel, and then click on the index.html. It won't display as it should.

No background image, everything is left orienated.

The CSS or JS is simply not working, I suspect. But I've check them and they all seem fine.

I'm sure it's something simple that I'm missing, but for the life of me I can't see it.

Any help please.

This is the main page.

There should be a dark green background, the menu bar should be across the page, pictures next to each other, etc. etc. All pages are coming up the same.

Apparently, the paths to the CSS are wrong.
See http://htmlhelp.com/faq/html/basics.html#relative-url

Or, you simply forgot to upload them. In any case, I get a 404 File not found on both CSS files.

The CSS is in the same directory as the HTML. You forgot to upload the folder or to create it.

Not here.
