HTMLHelp Forums _ Markup (HTML, XHTML, XML) _ Help with floating a div issue

Posted by: Glen Dec 17 2009, 01:54 PM

If someone can help me out, that would be great.

at this url http://www.libuilders.com/about.html

right now all looks good because I only have 2 images in the div. basically I have the "about us info" in a div floated to the left of the page, and an "image" div floated to the right.

if I unfloat the divs, the page extends downward (the background image) and footer is pushed down. when I float it though, more images cover the footer and the age gets messed up.

anyone have any idea what Im doing wrong?

thanks in advance.

after some playing, I floated the content container left and cleared the footer and it worked out so I think I am good.

unless this messes up something else lol.

if anyone sees something messed up in my code please yell out. thanks

Clearing the floats probably was what was needed.
