Hi all,
does anyone know how I can block access to my stats and other files on my website from other people looking at them?
I have a robots.txt file to stop search engines, but cannot think of any way to stop the 'casual' searcher from accessing my info?
any help would be appreciated please.
many thanks

If you don't want a file to be accessible, don't put it on the web. If your stats are somewhere, keep it private - unless of course you are using some service that provides stats in exchange for having a public link to them.

If you want more help, you need to provide more detail, like a web address.
