 Form Page Need Help Plz |

I'm trying to make a form page that will send to my email after they fill it out. I know some html, but no java. Can someone look at what i have so far and tell me how to make it work? I used some templates to help me get it started. I probably have it all wrong, but could really use a hand getting the idea to work. Thanks a ton, Matt

Your form doesn't have an action attribute. It won't do much of anything.

Below is your code for the form.
CODE <form name="myform" div style="margin-left:50px"> As Darin pointed out it doesn't have an action statement. CODE <form name="myform" action="mailto:me@email.com" div style="margin-left:50px"> The trouble with a mailto: statement is that most new browsers, guessing from IE5 will block the html from sending the email.... You will a server side script, like php, asp or a cgi to get the form to work. Your code would change to something like..... CODE <form name="myform" action="sendform.php" div style="margin-left:50px"> And you would need the sendform.php script to the send off the form. |
