gif issues on tumblr, gif discontinuous with overlayed text Options

Hello all,

Having some issues with the appearance of a gif on my tumblr. The text "GIF" is overlayed on the image and the text only disappears when you hover over the image. If you don't continuously hover, the gif eventually blurs out and stops playing. How do I get this gif to play continuously regardless of where my cursor lands and how do I remove the text overlay? I haven't always had these issues - maybe I deleted something from the HTML code that's causing this?
