I made a graphic at 683px and uploaded it to http://www.tumblr.com/themes/upload_static_file and now want to use it as a header graphic that displays at the top of my Tumblr blog instead of the generic text that shows up. How can I insert this graphic at the top of the page, make it not repeat, and remove the generic one that displays by default?

Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!

The regulars here aren't very familiar with Tumblr, so you may need to wait until someone familiar with Tumblr drops by.

But let's start with the basics. What is the URL of the image you want to use? Can you view it in your browser? (By that, I mean, can you view it directly, rather than viewing it within a page?)
