Hey iv'e been working on this site for the last month or two. Worked out how to use tables to position my site.. and used Photoshop to make the template so this is really my first attempt at making a website from scratch. Just wanted some feedback really, anything you like and don't like, what works what doesn't etc. Thanks in advance biggrin.gif.

That sounds a very last-century approach.

It seems to be XHTML rather than HTML. So stick

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

at the very top of it and feed its URL to the validator.

ok then iv'e thrown it into the validator and corrected all the errors that i have the ability too, which is basicaly all of them, the only bits i don't understand are these -

<script TYPE="text/javascript">
^

Error: there is no attribute TYPE for this element (in this HTML version)

i have about 15 of these to correct. What does it mean when it says no attribute....

XHTML is case sensitive, and all element names and attribute names must be in lower case. Change TYPE to type.
