I recommend that you start by fixing the HTML errors and CSS errors reported by the online tools.

Personally, I don't much fancy the banner to be honest. It's rudimentary photoshop attributes haphazardly thrown about with some text. It doesn't have a real theme feel. Other than that though, I love the layout.
