Flash background loads slow., My head hurts. Options

Alright, last night I designed http://tannercampbell.com -- I designed and tested in in CHROME ... maybe that wasn't such a good idea.

In Chrome the content is centered and the background film buffers and is playing within 15 seconds or so.

In IE8 and Firefox: The flash background seems to want to buffer out the entire film before it starts playing

In IE8: The content is not centered

Is there anything I can do to get this flash film to LOAD FASTER on IE and FF? And how can I center my content for IE8?
